At Edinburgh Weavers we live and breathe textiles. Each of our artworks is a labour of love, carefully conceived by our in-house artists and collaborators, fusing art and textiles in a tradition first established by the inspirational Alastair Morton almost a century ago.
Abstract
Abstract is a forthcoming interior Spring/Summer 2024 trend and Edinburgh Weavers have homed in on this with the expressionist element of our ‘Abstract’ design. The print has a textured look, showcasing paint dripping, brush strokes on soft tones with a flare of colour to add a modernist touch to your abode.
Aretha
The immortal print of paisley is timeless, yet the pops of fresh, fun colours throughout Edinburgh Weavers ‘Aretha’ make it contemporary. A bright, swirling design which will elevate any playful living area.
Athena
Our Athena linen fabric is available to order by the metre. Athena Clay is bold and modern design inspired by contemporary mid century prints within our company archives. The print is made up of abstract ceramic shapes in an over sized scale, with subtle intricate brush strokes and captivating colour ways.
Callie
Callie is a rich, immersive print design featuring playful floral shapes in vibrant colours. This all over design creates a feeling of being lost among the flowers and is ideal for any maximalist interior. Available in our signature linen viscose blend in an array of trend led colour ways.
Cheshire
A playful, botanical print with an other worldly feel, Cheshire is our newest design for the season. Inspired by Australian wildflowers like the Banksia flower, this print has a contemporary and fantasy feel ideal for the more daring among us. Available in our signature linen viscose blend and an array of trend led colour ways.
Cottonopolis
Cottonopolis is a beautiful free-flowing print featuring soft, fluffy cotton buds - the source from which the cotton fibre itself begins. These buds lightly dance with colourful leaves, surrounded by a blanket of peaceful hues to evoke the freshness of Spring.
Eddie
A swirl of broad brush strokes in vivid colours gives this design the impression of movement. Our Eddie design is reminiscent of ripples on water and is our modern take on classic op art styles. The Eddie comes in our signature linen blend and a variety of beautiful, versatile colour ways.
Eliza
An enriching painterly scene which captures the story of a bright day in the flower markets of Covent garden. Colourful, skilled and broad brush strokes translate into a multi-layered, bright and energising print to lift the soul.
Elsinore
Inspired by the rich spectrum of colour and movement produced by a flame, Elsinore Jewel blends playful layers of colour, texture, fabric and floral imagery to create a harmonious pattern rich in depth, energy and character.
Fautaua
Imagery native to the forests of Tahiti and elements of classic Polynesian artwork combine to create a layered pattern with a depth that reflects the density of the flora surrounding the island’s lush beaches. Rich merlot reds, emeralds and striking fuchsias with subtle hints of peaches and gold compliment the organic three-dimensional styling.
